Little hotel very charming; You can feel you're in a mini jungle. The breakfast is very good. I recommend strongly this little hotel, overall with a accessible price.

Nice location, close to the lagoon (2min walk), not that far from the center. Friendly and helpfull staff. Rooms are very clean. Breakfast is OK.

I was in the only room at ground level. Small room (14sq meters) filled with 2 queen sized beds. Very few space to move around. The only window opens on common space. There is only opaque curtains, so you have to choose between privacy or natural light. WiFi signal is really weak, almost unusable. Very noisy A/C (but working OK, BTW)

Clean. Good breakfast. Great A/C. Wonderful staff! Abigail (Abby) was so helpful!

Needs new bed linens, they are stained. Needs refrigerator. Room was very small.

Best all round spot we have stayed on this trip

Great breakfast, close to the public dock. Use of kayaks was great.

Stayed in two different rooms. One had ceiling fan! Which was great! Other didn’t which meant we had to run the a/c. Be nice to have bedside lamps.

Not as expected

Breakfast was good, the bedroom was clean. Nice and helpful staff letting us using the kayak 1h30mins for free, and kind especially after I was beaten by a scorpion *be careful in the lagoon* Nice location, 5 mins walking from the lagoon.

The hotel is a bit old and our two beds weren't comfy at all. I and my partner decided to sleep on the two beds instead of sharing one as they were actually both small. The room wasn't big and the bathroom tiny, with the lavatory outside the bathroom, in the room. Lots of dogs barking in the night around the hotel, we didn't sleep well. A bit upset as we mainly booked this hotel to use the 1h free kayak but we had to take them to the lagoon ourselves walking (10 mins but still heavy) and we had to pay 200MXN ($10) each to access the lagoon / in other places is 50MXN! The staff didn't give any information on where to go in the lagoon and didn't have a clue about us going around, so we ended up paddling randomly, missing important stops as people weren't able to give any information on where to go. I would have rented the kayak somewhere else and this made me feel we paid a lot and the hotel is not even in front of the lagoon as it seems described on the profile. Breakfast could be a bit richer and with more options for the overall price. I wouldn't recommend it, there are other nicer and cheaper options in Bacalar.

Friendly and helpful staff.

Friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Comfortable and soft bed.

Free kayaks unavailable due to maintenance of the local pier. Room was quite small for the price we payed.

Really friendly staff

We got alot of helpful hints. They were really helpful and nice in general. The room is really small but we kind of liked that. We were able to check out at 3am (to get a bus)

The shower curtain is not excluding the toilet so it's always wet.

Very close to the lagoon, the structure is quite simple.

Very close to the lagoon, the structure is quite simple. Breakfast was good and staff was quite friendly.

Our room was very small and the bathroom was a bit smelly. The kayak service wasn’t available during our stay (not for the structure’s fault) and I believe they could have compensated with something similar.

Super nice staff!

The staff was amazing. Always nice, always helpful and the room was very clean. It’s basic, not the fanciest but it’s worth your money. The location is good, you can park your car for free. If you don’t have a car, you have to walk a bit.

A lot of noises at night, especially dogs barking. The pier was closed that was around the corner, due to construction. But staff was so nice, she asked anyways if we could go on it with our kayak (which is also included!) is
